What is Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy…?

Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) brings together the focussed attention of hypnotherapy and the reframing of unhelpful patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Through the use of online therapy we will work together to gently shift, thoughts, feelings and behaviours that may be getting in the way of how you really want to live your life.

CBH is not about quick fixes, or the therapist having control over you. It's about working together to find practical ways to support your mind, build emotional resilience and move forward in a way that feels right for you.

What Happens During a Session…?

One of the most important things to understand about Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy, is that it is NOT something that I do 'to' you...

We will work together, towards agreed outcomes, to achieve your therapy goal. During our sessions we will reflect on the time since we last met and use some CBT, hypnotherapy, relaxation and some combined techniques.

We will also agree on suitable homework.

This is online therapy, delivered in the comfort of your own home.

About Me

Hello, I’m Katie, a Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist with a love for helping people feel better in themselves—calmer, more confident, and more in control.

I’m a wife and mum of four wonderful young adults. I have spent the last decade working in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school. That experience has taught me so much, about patience, empathy, and the power of listening. I’ve always found joy in creating a safe, supportive space for others, and Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy really feels like a natural extension of that.

I know how hard it can be to make time for yourself or to ask for help—but you don’t have to do it alone. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, stress, habits, phobias or simply want to make a positive change, I’m here to support you with warmth, understanding, and practical tools that really work.

Working with people, holding space for change, and seeing someone reclaim their peace is what I strive to achieve.

What’s Next

As my business grows, I plan to offer additional services, including Smoking Cessation, Weight Management and Workshops in Stress Management and Resilience Building, which are designed to help you build coping skills and develop resilience in all areas of life. My services will be updated once these are available.
